Islamabad College for Girls (ICG), F-6/2 solemnly observed Youm-e-Istehsal today
The assembly commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by an English speech, by Mahrosh Muddasir of Class 7 (Pre-O level), highlighting the significance of the day and reaffirming solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
An impactful Urdu speech was delivered by Shanzay of Class 7 (Pre-O Level), shedding light on the struggles and aspirations of the Kashmiri people and expressing support for their right to self determination. The programme also featured a heartfelt Kashmiri song performed by Rida and the group of Class 10-C, adding a powerful cultural and emotional dimension to the occasion.
Students from both the junior and senior sections expressed their solidarity with Kashmir through the display of banners and placards, carrying messages of support, peace, justice, and hope. To further demonstrate their unity and solidarity with the people of Kashmir, a human chain was also formed by the students and faculty symbolizing collective strength and unwavering support.
Furthermore an art activity (Junior and senior sections) was also planned in this regard where students expressed their solidarity and support for the people of Kashmir.
Quiz competitions were also held for students.

Kashmir Solidarity Day at ICG F-6/2

Islamabad College for Girls, F-6/2 marked Kashmir Solidarity Day with great passion, unity, and respect to express unwavering support for the people of Kashmir.
The day began with a solidarity walk, where students raised powerful slogans highlighting peace, justice, and freedom. A human chain was formed as a symbol of unity and collective voice.
Beautifully arranged stalls showcasing Kashmiri culture reflected the rich heritage, traditional crafts, and cuisine of the region. Students displayed their creativity and emotions through a poster competition, while meaningful speeches emphasized the importance of standing in solidarity.
A moving tableau and soulful songs touched hearts, portraying the struggles and resilience of the Kashmiri people. An engaging quiz competition further enhanced students’ awareness about Kashmir’s history and culture.
The event concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal, who encouraged students to uphold the values of peace, empathy, and human rights.
The day served as a strong reminder that our voices, when united, carry hope and strength.
